Canoe Lake, Southsea, in 1910 - Canoes? Those look like full-on gondolas to me!
Some things never change, though - give a bunch of kids a nice little puddle, or a boating lake, and they're in there like a dose of salts - "old salts", to judge by the sailor suits the boys are wearing!
